MAKE CONSISTENCY YOUR SUPERPOWER

MY WELLNESS CRUSADE SERIES
Episode 6: Make consistency your superpower.

Do you feel like you’ve “tried everything” but it hasn’t worked? How long did you try an approach before deciding it didn’t work? Weeks? Months? Have you given yourself the time & space to actually do this?

Embracing consistency can flip the script towards success. It is not only crucial in business but it also true for your health and well-being. Small, incremental changes over time can lead to significant long-term impacts.
Consistency is the practice of regularly and reliably repeating the same actions, behaviours, or routines over time. It involves a steadfast commitment to maintaining a particular course of action, even in the face of obstacles or distractions. Consistency is about reliability and predictability in your actions and efforts.
Achieving and maintaining optimal health and well-being isn’t built in a day. So make consistency your superpower. When exercising, changing your diet, improving sleep quality or managing your stress, it is easy to become frustrated even irritated while waiting for all your good habits and training to show up.

Staying committed and disciplined in the process and having faith that things will work out in the end, even if it takes longer than you expected. Similarly to business, you must master the art of showing up and trust in the process. Be focus on the outcome but through time and process.

Here are some steps to help you become more consistent:
1-Set Clear Goals: Start by setting clear and specific goals. When you have a clear sense of what you want to achieve, it’s easier to stay consistent in your efforts.
2- Create a Routine: Establish a daily or weekly routine that includes time dedicated to your goals. Consistency often stems from having a structured schedule.
3-Track Your Progress: Keep a journal or use a tracking system to monitor your progress. Celebrate small victories along the way to stay motivated.
4-Stay Accountable: Share your goals with a friend, family member, or colleague who can hold you accountable.
5-Practice Self-Discipline: Developing self-discipline is crucial for consistency. Learn to resist the urge to procrastinate and stay committed to your goals.
6-Learn from Setbacks: Understand that setbacks and failures are a natural part of any journey.
7- Flexible: While consistency is important, it’s also essential to be flexible and adapt to changing circumstances. Sometimes, your plans may need to be adjusted.
